Introduction
As soon you saw the picture of these uniquely designed jack stands your interest was probably peaked right away. The JackPoint Jack Stands feature a open front with a wide base that allow floor jacks to fit underneath them. This a great idea for cars that have very few jacking points like many of todays uni-body cars. They are made of light weight aluminum with a 1/2 inch thickness and have weight rating of 4000 pounds. These met all ANSI safety standards, are patented and made in the USA. They also meet PALD and European CE standards.
How do JackPoint Jack Stands Work?
These bases that you seen pictured are made to fit on top of the saddle of most floor jacks and each serve a different purpose depending on which car you’ll being the JackPoint Jack Stands with. Some are good for Corvettes & Porsche’s that have unique jacking points and others are good for cars with pinch welds just to name of few. These bases are also interlocking and stack-able which increased the hold height of the jack stands.
Once you lay the base on top of the floor jack and lift up the car to the appropriate height you simply slide the JackPoint Jack Stand around the floor jack and lower the jack. While that happens the base will align with the top part of the jack stand holding it in place. Now your jacking point is also your holding point for the jack stand, no more searching for a secondary location to put your jack stand in to hold up your car.
The JackPoint Jack Stands are not adjustable themselves and are 12 inches high, 12 inches deep and 16 inches wide. However remember you can stack the interlocking bases to increase your holding height.

Why Should I Use JackPoint Jack Stands?
First of all, lets make it clear that these jack stands are pricey and not for everybody. There are many vehicles where conventional jack stands will work just fine and if your on a budget, you probably shouldn’t even consider buying the JackPoint Jack Stands.
If you have a higher end sports car and have ever been underneath your car, then you’ll know there are very few jacking points, mostly due to aerodynamics. In these cases then you should consider picking up some of these jackstands.
If you have 4 jack stands, then you know they take up some spaces, while one of the these JackPoint jack stands 
takes up the amount of floor space as it’s comparable competitors, 2 or more does not. That’s because theses are stack-able, so weather you 1 or 4 they take up the same amount of floor space while not in use.

Where Can I Buy JackPoint Jack Stands?
Well these are not currently available in stores or online on places like Amazon, they are only available directly from JackPoint at this time. If your interested in purchasing a set of these you can expect to wait a few months as they are going on back order often due to their growing popularity.
